Crafts, local products and hot food fill the Christmas village huts. The market opens daily during seasonal time slots, with individual closing days.
The season opening changes the atmosphere
The first skiers arrive in late November. For an Advent-only visit, the early weeks of December can work well; to combine the market with skiing, check lift operations and snow conditions.
Take the altitude seriously
