Why Lake Garda feels completely different in November
Many people know Lake Garda only as a summer destination. In November, swimming holidays and high season have almost entirely faded away. Restaurants and attractions may have reduced opening hours, while lakeside paths, towns and olive groves become much quieter. Come for something other than beaches and water sports and you will experience a very different region.

November is a month for food rather than swimming

Walking is possible, but not as in summer
Low-level paths around Riva, Arco and Torbole can be very pleasant on clear days. Higher mountain walks depend more heavily on cold, rain and possible snow. Shorter days also call for an earlier start.
