WHY NOW

The entire city becomes a jazz club for ten days.

From 3 to 12 July 2026, Copenhagen hosts international musicians alongside smaller performances in clubs, cultural venues and unexpected corners of the city. Spend days beside the harbour or coast and evenings listening to jazz.

Why July?

Copenhagen enjoys long bright evenings in July. Water and green space are easily reached, so even warmer days can be divided between Nyhavn, harbour baths, parks and the coast.

Jazz Festival from 3 to 12 July

The festival stretches over ten days and many venues. It opens officially on 3 July 2026, followed by daily concerts across a wide range of styles until 12 July. Some performances are free.

Combine the city with the coast

Do not spend every day in the centre. Klampenborg, Humlebæk and Helsingør are easily reached by train and offer a quieter contrast to festival life.

  • Get tickets early for popular concerts.
  • Combine gaps in the festival programme with coastal days.
  • Carry a light windproof and waterproof layer, even in July.
